Welcome to Sweety Botanica. By accessing and using our website www.sb-candles.com and placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

 

1. About Sweety Botanica

Sweety Botanica is a UAE-based handmade candle and artisan decor business. All products are handcrafted in small batches using 100% natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils and natural botanicals. Our store is operated through Shopify and accessible at www.sb-candles.com.

 

2. Eligibility

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

•        You are at least 18 years of age

•        You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

•        All information you provide to us is accurate and complete

•        You will use our products responsibly and in accordance with all provided safety instructions

 

3. Products

All products listed on our website are handmade to order in small batches. As a result:

•        Minor natural variations in colour, texture, fragrance and appearance may occur between products and product photos

•        These variations are a natural characteristic of handmade goods and do not constitute a defect

•        Product photography is as accurate as possible but screen colour settings may cause slight differences in how colours appear

•        We reserve the right to substitute similar dried flowers or botanicals of equal quality if a specific botanical is unavailable

 

4. Ordering

When you place an order on our website:

•        You will receive an order confirmation email — please check your spam folder if not received within 1 hour

•        Your order is confirmed only once payment is received and verified

•        For bank transfer orders, your order will be processed only after payment is confirmed in our account

•        We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion and will issue a full refund if we do so

 

5. Pricing

All prices on our website are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you pay.

 

6. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

•        Bank Transfer / Bank Deposit to our UAE bank account

All payments must be completed before orders are processed. We do not store any card or payment details on our systems.

 

7. Handmade Nature of Products

By purchasing from Sweety Botanica, you acknowledge and accept that:

•        All products are handcrafted individually and will not be perfectly uniform

•        Small imperfections, natural texture variations and slight asymmetries are characteristics of handmade goods and are not defects

•        Each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the item shown in product photos

•        Burn times stated are approximate and may vary depending on environment, wick trimming and care

 

8. Candle Safety

All candles must be used responsibly. You agree to:

•        Never leave a burning candle unattended

•        Keep burning candles away from children and pets

•        Keep away from draughts, curtains and flammable materials

•        Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface

•        Trim the wick to 5mm before each use

•        Discontinue use when 1cm of wax remains

Sweety Botanica accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including product photographs, descriptions, branding, the Sweety Botanica name and logo, and all creative content is the intellectual property of Sweety Botanica. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or use any of our content without prior written permission.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Sweety Botanica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of your original purchase.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

 

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
