Everything you need to know about our products, orders and delivery

1. What wax do you use in your candles?

All our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax. We never use paraffin, palm wax or any synthetic materials. Soy wax burns cleaner, lasts longer and is better for the environment.

2. How long do your candles burn?

Burn times vary by size. Sculpture candles burn for 30–50 hours and glass jar candles for 40–60 hours. Always trim your wick to 5mm before each use to maximise burn time and ensure an even, clean flame.

3. How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. On the first use, let the wax melt to the full edge of the container before extinguishing — this prevents tunnelling. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from draughts, children and pets. Stop burning when 1cm of wax remains.

4. Are your candles safe to burn?

Yes — when used responsibly. Every Sweety Botanica candle is crafted with natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils. Always follow the candle care instructions. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep away from flammable materials.

5. How long does delivery take within the UAE?

All products are handmade to order. Standard items require 2 to 5 business days preparation before dispatch. Once dispatched, delivery within the UAE takes 1 to 4 business days. Total time is approximately 3 to 9 business days from order date.

6. Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! All orders over AED 150 qualify for free shipping anywhere in the UAE. Orders below AED 150 have a flat shipping rate of AED 20 to 25 depending on your location.

7. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to select international destinations. International shipping rates and delivery times vary by country. Please contact us before placing an international order to confirm availability and shipping costs to your location.

8. Can I place a custom or bespoke order?

Absolutely — we love creating custom pieces! We craft bespoke candles and arrangements for weddings, Eid celebrations, baby showers, corporate events and any special occasion. Contact us with your ideas, colour preferences and budget and we will create something beautiful just for you.

9. Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?

Yes. We offer bulk order pricing for quantities of 10 pieces or more. Custom branding and branded packaging is available for corporate orders. Please contact us at least 3 weeks in advance for large orders to ensure availability and timely delivery.

10. Can I add a personalised gift message?

Yes! Add your message in the Order Notes field at checkout and we will include a handwritten card with your order. Perfect for birthdays, Eid, Mother's Day and any gifting occasion.

11. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, Bank Transfer and Cash on Delivery (UAE only). For bank transfer orders, your order will be processed once payment is confirmed. Please send your transfer receipt to our WhatsApp or email after payment.

12. What is your refund policy?

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours with clear photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund promptly. As all products are handmade to order we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Custom orders are final sale.

13. My order arrived damaged — what do I do?

Please photograph the packaging and the damaged item immediately and contact us within 48 hours via WhatsApp or email. Do not dispose of the packaging until the issue is resolved. We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

14. How do I contact Sweety Botanica?

You can reach us via the Contact Us form on our website, by WhatsApp, or by email. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 to 2 business days. For urgent matters WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us. We are always happy to help!
